Topps Marvel Comics Chrome 2026 – Value Box

Topps Chrome Marvel Comics brings comic history from 1939 onwards to chrome cards: heroes, villains and everything in between, drawn in the publisher's own visual style. It is the programme that has lifted comic card collecting to the same refractor hunt as sports cards.

The 2026 base set comprises 200 cards split into Characters I and Characters II. The parallels are a story of their own: in addition to the classic chrome rainbow with Black refractor /10 and Superfractor 1/1, there are Marvel-specific variants such as Hulk Green Lazer /99 and Captain America Star /41, plus Clawed Chrome variants with Wolverine's claw marks die-cut through the card image. The insert line ranges from Meanwhile… and One World Under Doom, inspired by current comic storylines, to art sets such as Varied Visage: Age of Apocalypse and the Reflections set. The edition was released in July 2026.

The value box contains eight packs of four cards: 32 chrome cards and the cheapest sealed way into the programme. Base, refractors and inserts are in the packs.

An obvious pick for Marvel readers and comic collectors, but also for sports card collectors who want the same parallel hunt with a different subject.
