The Crimson King is Jack Atlas's deck and puts you behind the handlebars of the Phoenix Whirlwind. The strategy is to Synchro Summon one of the Level 8 Red Dragon Archfiend monsters and then Special Summon more Resonator monsters until the combo is enough to reach higher Synchro Monsters such as Red Nova Dragon. Konami has included an extra-large Extra Deck to give more ways to get there.

The deck contains a brand-new Level 8 Synchro Monster that is treated as Red Dragon Archfiend both on the field and in the graveyard. If you use it to summon one of the higher Red Dragon Archfiend monsters, you can Special Summon the original Red Dragon Archfiend from your Extra Deck and at the same time clear your opponent's monsters in Attack Position without having to battle.

The whole deck is 49 cards, split into 5 Ultra Rare, 3 Super Rare and 42 Common. A Structure Deck is prebuilt: the contents are fixed and identical in every copy, nothing is random. That makes it a ready starting point you can play right away.

Konami ties this deck to the main set Blazing Dominion, where Jack Atlas's cards are built on further. This is the English edition with the set code SDCK.
