Flesh and Blood Usurp the Shadow Throne – Booster Case

The set centres on three Shadow heroes. The Runeblade hero Viserai returns from i'Arathael as the champion of the old ones, the new Necromancer hero Malice builds around zombies, and the Brute hero Levia is possessed by the demon Blasmophet. In gameplay terms, much of it is about playing cards from your banished zone and taking your opponent's Runechants. The cards include Majestic, Legendary, Marvel and Fabled, and Cold Foil also appears.

Usurp the Shadow Throne (set code IAR) is the twentieth set of the Flesh and Blood game and the second-to-last chapter of War of the Monarch, made for both limited and constructed. The set has 263 cards and each pack 16 cards, and the case contains four displays with 24 packs each. Legend Story Studios released the set on 25 September 2026.
