Hobby Lite is the smaller format of Topps Chrome Formula 1 2022, the same edition as the hobby box but with 16 packs instead of 18 and without autographs. The format was released on 20 January 2023 and covers the 2022 season. The box contains 16 packs with four cards in each, 64 cards in total.

The base set consists of 200 cards featuring F1 and F2 drivers, Grand Prix winners and cars. The insert sets are 1968 Topps Hot Rods, Art du Grand Prix, Constructors Coalition and Speed Demons. Topps lists five refractor parallels and 17 inserts per box.

The Lite format's own parallel is Black & White RayWave, four per box, which is not found in the hobby box. The numbered Lite-exclusive variants are Green RayWave to 99 copies, Pink RayWave to 75, Gold RayWave to 50, Red RayWave to 5 and Black RayWave as a single copy.

The year is discontinued at Topps and is sold as aftermarket copies. The box is sealed, and what is inside this particular box is determined by Topps' packing and not by us.
