Hobby Lite is the smaller format of Topps Chrome Formula 1 2021, the same edition as the hobby box but with 16 packs instead of 18 and without autographs. The edition was released on 9 March 2022, after the season it covers had been decided. The box contains 16 packs with four cards in each, 64 cards in total.

The base set consists of 175 cards featuring F1 and F2 drivers, team members and cars. The insert sets are Path to the Podium and Redliners, both roughly one card per six packs, and Topps 1961 Sports Cars, which falls more often at roughly one per three packs.

What sets Lite apart from the hobby box, apart from the autographs, is the RayWave parallels found only in this format. Each box gives four RayWave and one Checker Flag parallel. The numbered Lite-exclusive variants are Green RayWave to 99 copies, Gold RayWave to 50, Red RayWave to 5 and Black RayWave as a single copy.

The year is discontinued at Topps and is sold as aftermarket copies. The box is sealed, and what is inside this particular box is determined by Topps' packing and not by us.
