Shrouded Fable is a special set built around Pecharunt ex and Darkness-type Pokémon, with a clear link to the Teal Mask story and a shorter main series than the main sets.

The Elite Trainer Box format is the set's complete starter package: booster packs together with 65 card sleeves in the set's artwork, 45 energy cards, dice and damage counters, card dividers and a storage box with a lid that everything fits in. Since Shrouded Fable is a special set with a shorter main series, the packs in the box cover a comparatively large part of the set.
