Sixty Dragon Shield Outer Sleeves Matte in Clear and Japanese size. Outer sleeves are larger than regular sleeves and go over a card that is already in a sleeve, so the card gets one more layer on the outside.

Dragon Shield states that the sleeves fit over all Dragon Shield sleeves in Japanese size. Japanese size is the smaller card size used in games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Cardfight Vanguard. The outer sleeve gives the matte Dragon Shield surface even when the card is in an art sleeve of lower quality.

A common reason to use outer sleeves is to protect expensive art sleeves or prize sleeves from tournaments, so that they do not peel or crack during play. With a perfect fit sleeve, this becomes triple sleeving. For standard size cards, there are Outer Sleeves Matte in standard size.

They work well for players of games with Japanese size cards who want to double or triple sleeve. Cards are not included. The card sleeves are for Japanese size and do not fit standard size Magic or Pokémon cards.
