Ultra Pro 1/4" Screwdown Recessed Holder – card holder with four screws

A screw down holder from Ultra Pro that is a quarter of an inch thick, just over six millimetres. The card sits in a recessed slot that holds it in place, and the two clear parts are screwed together with four screws, one in each corner. The holder takes one standard size card, 63.5 × 88.9 mm.

The thick plastic makes the holder heavy and stable, and it stands securely in a display stand. Ultra Pro states that the material is acid-free and PVC-free.

Four screws give even pressure around the whole card, whereas Ultra Pro's simpler screw down holder has a hinge and one screw. If you want to be able to open the holder without tools, a One-Touch 35pt with a magnetic closure is the simpler choice.

It works well for a card that will be displayed for a long time without being touched, or that needs solid protection in a collection. The card and the screwdriver are not included. Tighten the screws evenly and lightly.
